CAT FACT: The part of a cat's brain that controls vision is highly developed, which makes sense given that cats are visual hunters

- The superior colliculus, a part of the brainstem responsible for visual processing, is well-developed in cats. This allows them to quickly and accurately track prey, even in low light conditions. Wow!

It's getting warmer, but Viv stays warm always! Meow!

I first found out about the extra lives afforded to cats back when Fred Penner came to town; I'm gonna say 1996.
