 Hello to all CatFacts.ca readers and their Kitty Cat friends. It's time for another Tabby Tuesday , and another Cat Fact!

CAT FACT: Cats have retractable claws that they use for hunting and climbing!

- They have five toes on their front paws and four toes on their back paws.

- When a cat is relaxed, their claws are retracted and sheathed in a protective covering.

- Cats will sharpen their claws by scratching rough surfaces, such as a scratching post
