 Hi everyone and their Cats! We're back again today with another Cat Fact! Wow!

CAT FACT: There is an island off the coast of Mississippi called Cat Island! Meow!

- Cat Island is a unique "T-shaped" island created by colliding Gulf of Mexico currents

-  The island's name comes from French explorers who mistook raccoons for cats!

- Cat Island's sand beaches are backed by dense forests of slash pines and live oaks

I first found out about the extra lives afforded to cats back when Fred Penner came to town; I'm gonna say 1996.
