 A warm Wednesday to all. I hope everyone is having as good a week as Viv the cat. She's pictured below as she commonly is, and she's back with another Cat Fact!

CAT FACT: Did you know - a female grown-up kitty is called a Queen!

- If you have a female cat who is pregnant or nursing, she is also considered a queen

- If your female cat has been spayed, she is referred to as a molly for her entire life. Unlike male cats being called either “toms” or “tomcats,” a female cat would only be referred to as a “molly” and not a “molly cat.” - Although that would be hilarious if we did call them that...

- There are mixed opinions about where the term “molly” came for a female cat, we just don't know for sure!
