 Hi all! Viv hopes everyone is having a nice weekend so far. Keep reading to learn about today's Cat Fact!

CAT FACT: In ancient Egypt, Cats were revered as sacred animals 

- Kitty-Cats were often depicted in religious artwork.

- Cats were believed to be associated with the goddess Bastet, who was the goddess of home, fertility, and childbirth. Wow!

- Many families in ancient Egypt kept cats as pets and would ensure their safe passage to the afterlife so they could always be with their Cat!

- Cats were also thought to have protective powers! They were believed to be able to ward off evil spirits, making them valued members of households and communities. Meow!
